Bay Area Veterinary Hospital Starts a New Era!
I have some very exciting news to share with you. First though, the sad part – I am retiring from veterinary practice. For some time now I have been actively searching for just the right doctor to replace me at BAVH. My standards were high as I had to find someone who shared my deep love and appreciation for animals, as well as someone who has the medical skills to keep BAVH moving forward in the ever-evolving field of veterinary medicine and surgery. The exciting news is that I have found such a veterinarian at last.
Dr. Sarah Mainardi-Wilds will be taking over at BAVH on October 2, 2023. She even graduated from my alma mater, the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013!
Dr. Wilds is excited to join the BAVH family. I believe that she will serve you and your pets with the same concern, skill, and compassion that you have come to expect from me and all our staff. I am sad to be leaving as I have found the past 27+ years being part of your pet families extremely fulfilling. It has been a tremendous privilege to be able to assist you with the medical needs of your pets. I have also had the good fortune to work with an excellent staff most of whom you know. All the current staff, including Dr. Ewing, Dr. Hendler and Michelle, will continue to assist you in any way they can. I am grateful for the confidence and trust that you have placed in me over the years. We will all strive over the next few weeks to make the transition smooth, and I am quite confident that I leave you in good hands with Dr. Sarah Mainardi-Wilds.
Sincerely,
Dr. Cindy Dahle
